A feeling of calm infinity
Being by the seashore meant being able to see forever into the distance. Being by a lake isn’t always quite the same as you can usually see the other side. So to me it can sometime still feel quite closed in. For the last week or so we’ve had fog and the positive side of this is that the other side “disappeared”. For a few days I have again been able to see forever or at least can imagine this to be the case. An opportunity for some quiet contemplation on the notion of “quiet” and “infinity”.
